These are free gist notes – really short, summarised notes to give you the gist – of the short story ‘Painting the Tiger’ by Philip Jeyaretnam.

They aren’t everything you need to know, but they exist to give you a start as you begin to understand the text. At the end, I collate the evidence related to ‘How We Live Now’.
